On Tuesday, Central City/Centura started the week’s slate of games in a pitcher’s duel with Crete at home.

Blue Devils use early lead to fend off Cats’ comeback
After taking an 11-5 loss to Central City/Centura last Monday, the St. Paul/Palmer Cats returned to their home field looking to get back on track in a showdown with Wayne. However, an early surge and some timely hitting by the Blue Devils resulted in the Cats’ sixth loss of the year, falling 5-3.
