Medical center’s building project remains on schedule Work continues at a steady pace on the Howard County Medical Center’s (HCMC) new 17,000 square foot, eight-million- dollar wellness center on the northwest side of the HCMC campus. County official urges board to “fix” issues with county wages During their first regular meeting of the month of July last Tuesday, the Howard County Commissioners revisited two concerns raised during their final meeting of June: wages for dispatchers at the Howard County Communication Center and the gaps in the courthouse’s new front steps.
