As fieldwork continued across Howard County, on Saturday night, the St. Paul Area Chamber of Commerce gathered to celebrate its own growth and the work that it has accomplished to cultivate a strong business community.

Mother Nature provided the perfect backdrop for six seniors to receive their diplomas from Elba High School on Saturday. Last week, the Elba High School Class of 2024 took the next step in their lives when they turned their tassels and officially made the transition from students to alumni during a special afternoon ceremony.

Southwestern Howard County was the site of much pomp and circumstance on Saturday evening. Family members and friends from Dannebrog, Boelus, Cairo, and beyond made their way to Centura’s high school gymnasium for the Howard County school district’s fifty-seventh annual commencement exercises.

After just over one year of construction, the Howard County Medical Center (HCMC) cut the ribbon on its new, eight-million-dollar Wellness Center last Thursday, May 2nd, officially opening the new center to use.

Thirty-five seniors received their diplomas on Sunday afternoon, May 4th at St. Paul High School.
