The estate of Elda and Chester Miller of St. Paul has given the St. Paul Public School Industrial Technology Department nearly $18,000 for use in their woodworking shop. Chester Miller was well-known for his woodworking skills…Items purchased with the Millers’ gift this year include a CNC computerized router, V-carve drafting software for woodworking, two tool cabinets, multiple Milwaukee cordless power tools, a drum sander, an air handling system, a wood lathe, a DeWalt miter saw, a metal brake, and a large assortment of hand tools.

Lunch Bunch program to begin next week

The Howard Greeley County Food Pantry has once again organized the Summer Lunch Program for children (no adults please). The program will begin on Tuesday, June 4th and run every Tuesday and Thursday, with the last meal being served on July 30th. There will be no lunch served on July 4th. Lunch Bunch will be held in the Sts. Peter & Paul Parish Life Center kitchen, on the north side of building, again this year from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Meals will be provided by the following organizations: United Methodist Church, Skyline Café, Citizen’s Bank and Trust, Christ Lutheran Church, Archer Credit Union, Sts. Peter & Paul CCW, Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Daughters, PEO, Casey’s, County Cage, Homestead Bank, St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, and Runza.
