Howard County native travels to Europe with LEAD Members of Class 42 of the Nebraska Agricultural Leadership Council’s Nebraska Leadership Education Action/ Development (LEAD) program recently returned from an international travel seminar. The two-week journey took them through Poland, Hungary, and Romania, three North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) member states along Ukraine’s western border.

Howard County 4-H members opened the 2025 4-H year with their 4-H Pancake Feed at the Howard County Fairgrounds on Sunday, February 10th. “It was a great turnout,” said 4-H Council President MaKayla Coufal of the event on Monday.

On Sunday, February 9th at the Wolbach Community Center, the Wolbach Community Club and Trinity Lutheran Church in Wolbach held a Brats & Spirits Fundraiser to raise money for the victims of Hurricane Helene in North Carolina last September and the victims of the southern California wildfires early this year.
