Body Ravenna’s Juniors came into last Tuesday’s matchup with Dannebrog-Cairo-Boelus (DCB) having earned wins in three of their last four games. DCB, however, used an explosive third inning and some late offense to down their guests 8-0.

Body The LouPlatte Conference (LPC) All-Star basketball team, including St. Paul’s Jaxson Klinginsmith and Rylan Birkby, took on the best players from the Southwest Conference in last week’s New West All-Star Classic Basketball game played at Minden.

Body Since splitting two games earlier in the week with Palmer-Wolbach-Greeley and Grand Island, the St. Paul Post 119 Seniors dropped backto-back games against Shelton/Gibbon on Friday and Aurora on Sunday.

Body The defending state champions made life difficult for the Ravenna Seniors last Tuesday. The boys from Dannebrog-Cairo-Boelus (DCB) typically don’t walk many batters, so when the Jays totaled just two hits in five innings, DCB was able to remain undefeated with a 10-0 victory.
