Body Last Christmas, I learned the lesson the hard way. You cannot go to the hardware store the weekend following Thanksgiving and expect there to be an ample supply of holiday decorating necessities.

Body I have a confession to make, and it is a rough one. Late last month, I made the grievous error of purchasing one of those large bags of assorted candy, thinking that, just in case trick-or-treaters came to my house, I would have something to dole out.

Body Quick, somebody give the Governor a shovel. I want to see how much deeper he can dig the hole.

Body During the summer following my freshman year in college, I had gotten an internship in downtown Omaha.
