THE MAY MEETING of the 49 County Clovers started off with the 4-H Pledge. Then, they heard the secretary’s minutes and the treasurer’s report and discussed upcoming events and deadlines. After that, members had MaKayla read her speech about upcoming events. Then, they had Jillian Wells give a presentation on healthy meals. She had the kids draw on a piece of paper what their favorite fruit, vegetable, protein, breads, and dairy were, as well as where the silverware goes on the table. Then, the club went and made trail mix out of things like Cheez-It’s, dried cranberries, and dried strawberries. There is still time to sign up for 4-H, if you are interested.
