Oral Storytelling encourages deeper participation among preschoolers through role-playing and performances. Preschoolers develop important speaking and listening skills when they express their ideas and respond to the ideas of others. Unlike reading to children, oral storytelling seems to unleash a range of imagination. There are no illustrations to rely on!

DIERBERGER: Taylor and Tyler Dierberger of Boelus are the parents of a son, Otto Chester Dierberger. He was born on May 31, 2023. He weighed 8 lb., 2 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long. He was welcomed home by his brother, Dominic. Grandparents are Thereasa and Gordon Nealon of Farwell and Mary and Chet Dierberger of Scotia. Great-grandparents are Luanna and Dominic Wroblewski of Boelus.

As of Thursday evening, the South Loup River was flowing a lot less, at 162 cfs, compared to 232 cfs Sunday; and the Middle Loup River by St. Paul was at 1,060 cfs, down from 1,320 cfs. Shawn noticed the river water is not muddy, like it was last week.
