THE LEGO GUY, Curtis Mork, visited the St. Paul Library last Wednesday for a free program for community members. Mork’s presentation was put on in collaboration with the library’s summer reading program.

ST. PAUL resident Dan Fox was inducted into the Nebraska Eight-Man Coaches Association’s Eight-Man Football Hall of Fame on Saturday night during the Sertoma Eight-Man All-Star Game played at Adams Central High School in Hastings.

The Howard-Greeley Food Pantry was surprised with a $1,528 grant courtesy of the Food Bank for the Heartland last Wednesday Wednesday afternoon.

Lola Teter hosted the Monday Nite Bridge Club last week, with Rogene Vopat receiving the high prize, Marj Stoffel second high, and Harriet Steenson won the traveling prize, Rogene will host the July games for the group.

The May 17th joint meeting of Legion Post 236 and Auxiliary of Wolbach was called to order by Commander Luke Thompson. Invocation was given by Marge Stoffel. POW/MIA empty chair was observed, as well as all saying the Pledge of Allegiance, singing the National Anthem, and reciting the Preamble.

Applications for the Wolbach Community Foundation grant interest money may now be picked up at Homestead Bank – Wolbach Branch. The deadline to apply is July 8th Ṫhere is approximately $4,471.00 in grant money available.

Wayne State College included 1,190 students on the dean’s list for exemplary academic achievement during the spring 2022 semester. Students listed on the dean’s list are full-time undergraduate students who have achieved a GPA of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale for the semester.

Wolbach Fire and Rescue received two $500 donations from Jay and Phyllis Anderson and the Jack McIntyre family. The Wolbach Cemetery received three donations in memory of Jack McIntyre.
