Locals Named to UNL Spring Deans’ List

Body More than 6,200 University of Nebraska–Lincoln students have been named to the Deans’ List for the spring semester of the 2021-22 academic year. Qualification for the Deans’ List varies among the eight undergraduate colleges and the Explore Center.

Body The St. Paul Volunteer Fire Department was called to a pair of grass fires on Saturday afternoon. The first call concerned a grass fire located along U.S. Highway 281 south of the Middle Loup River Bridge.

County Board Okays 1 & 6 Year Road Plan

Wilshusen Selected as Next Emergency Manager

Body Howard County recruited a new emergency manager last month, Allen Wilshusen. Howard County Board of Commissioners Chairman Dave Boehle had served as the county’s interim emergency manager prior to Wilshusen’s hiring. At the

Donations Received

Body The Wolbach Cemetery received two donations in memory of Jens Nielsen. A $140 donation was received from friends and family, and a $20 donation was received from Carl and Donna Ondracek.
