As of Monday morning, with the rain—thank you, Lord—over the weekend, the river flows are up. The South Loup River is at 192 cubic feet per second (cfs), the Middle Loup River at 1,720 cfs, and the North Loup River’s reading by St. Paul was 947 cfs. We finally have a picture of a buck that I will be sitting in a deer blind and hope to see, even if I don’t have a shot at him.

On Friday, October 24th, an Egyptian trade team made a visit to the Elba community. Their first stop was Mr. and Mrs. John Dvoracek’s farm, where they had the experience of meeting several of the Elba FFA members and officers, along with seeing some of Mr. Dvoracek’s sorghum test plots.
