On Tuesday, February 21, 2023, Shawn DeVore, 58, formerly of St. Paul, a loving brother, uncle, and fur-father to Puff Run-a-muck, passed away unexpectedly in Aurora, Colorado.

Dorothy E. Goc, 94, of Loup City, died unexpectedly on Friday, February 24, 2023 at CHI Health Good Samaritan in Kearney.

Stuart E. “Stu” Stoltenberg, 72, of Port Angeles, Washington passed away on February 16, 2023 at home after a long and hard battle with Parkinson’s Disease.

Joe D. Zavitka of Seward was born September 24, 1939 to Joe and Fern (Vogt) Zavitka, and passed away on February 20, 2023 in Seward, at the age of eighty-three years, four months, and twentyseven days. Joe grew up on a farm outside of Elba, where he graduated from high school. As a teenager, he played football, basketball, track, and baseball; and, as an adult, men’s fast pitch softball. Joe helped with his parents’ farming operation until their retirement in the early 1970s.

Garold “Jerry” Boilesen, 87, of Webster City, Iowa, passed away on February 21, 2023. A memorial service honoring Jerry’s life will be held at Boman Funeral Home, 613 Ohio Street, Webster City, Iowa, on Saturday, March 4th, at 2:00 p.m.
