Shirley A. Neisner, 85, of St. Paul, died on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at Brookefield Park Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in St. Paul. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Apfel Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements, online condolences may be left at www. apfelfuneralhome.com.

Shirley was born on October 30, 1939, at Dallas, Texas, to Jessie and Dell Fox. She would grow up in Dallas and later marry Don Holland and from this marriage she had a daughter, Donna. Shirley later remarried to Charles Neisner, and they resided in Boelus and later St. Paul, where she would serve her family as a homemaker and farmwife.

Shirley loved working on puzzles, especially if it was with her family, she enjoyed arts and crafts of all kinds and, of course, was an outstanding cook.

She is survived by her daughter, Freida Stovall; granddaughter, Hannah Neisner; grandson, Justin Johnson; and great- granddaughter, Zelena Neisner.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Neisner; daughter, Donna Johnson; and multiple siblings.
