Marjorie F. Teter, 85, of Kearney, formerly of Amherst, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at Mother Hull Home in Kearney.

Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 8th, 2025, at the Old West Gym in Amherst with Dean Pofahl officiating. Interment will follow at the Stanley Cemetery southeast of Amherst. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 7, 2025 at Horner Lieske Mc-Bride & Kuhl Funeral Home in Kearney. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Elton and Marjorie Teter Education Fund or the Amherst Volunteer Fire Department. Majorie simply touched the lives of many people at the Amherst Public Schools, where she worked for thirty-plus years.

She is survived by her sons, Larry (Stacy) and Daryl (Molly) Teter; grandchildren, Matthew (Chesley), Ethan (Tori), Trevor, and Carissa Teter; great grandchildren, Paisley, Traelyn, Tierney, Tucker, Isaac, and Audrey; and numerous friends and relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Percy and Mable Bandt; her husband, Elton; brothers, Raymond and Norman Bandt; a sister, Marilyn Prentice; and a grandson, Blake Teter.
