Lindsey Marie Rasmussen, 39, of Grand Island, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2024.

A celebration of Lindsey’s life was held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at the Platt Duetsche. In place of flowers, memorials are suggested to The Good Life Rescue.

She was born on April 18, 1985 in Grand Island, to Daniel and Michele (Rich) Rasmussen. She grew up in Cotesfield, and graduated from Elba High School. She worked as a waitress at Balz Sports Bar for many years.

She loved all animals, especially her dogs and cats. She loved the outdoors. Whether going on hikes, searching for rocks or walking through old buildings. She enjoyed listening to music, hanging out with friends, and long drives down country roads. The last five years, she cherished adventures in the mountains with Kevin.

She is survived by her love, Kevin Moeller; son, Austin Miller; mother, Michele Rasmussen; sister, Brandi (Jarod) Olsen; nephews, Reid and Rylan; and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, aunt Linda and her grandparents Bob and Nila.
