Linda Kay Koch, 78, formerly of Elba, passed away on February 28, 2026, at Good Samaritan Society in Grand Island.

Graveside services were held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, in the Elba Cemetery, in Elba. Bishop Jon Rosenlund will officiate.

Following the burial, there will be a luncheon at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Grand Island, located at 212 W 22nd Street.

Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.

Peters Funeral Home of St. Paul is assisting the family.

Linda was born on April 18, 1947, in Lawrence, Kansas, to Kathryn Louise Coburn and Bernard Eugene Foley. She will be remembered for her deep love of family and the life she shared with those around her.

Linda enjoyed oil painting, knitting, sewing, diamond art, playing bingo, and spending time with her beloved fur babies. She loved fiercely and was always kind and compassionate. She found joy in creativity and companionship and treasured the moments spent with those she loved. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Linda is survived by her daughters, Cathy Landes, Ann Blair, Missy Garcia, and Sarah Koch; honorary daughter, Chris Fahrenbruch; her siblings, Judie, Sandie, Nancy, Terri, Mike, Joe, and Gail; nine grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Harold Koch; her son, Patrick Stephens; her grandson, Paul (PJ); and her parents.
