Jeffrey L. “Jeff” Krzycki, 59, of Elba, died unexpectedly on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at his home in Elba.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Elba. The Reverend Vince Parsons celebrated the Mass and was assisted by Deacon Neil Baquet. Burial was in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Elba.
Kennadi Findley was the lector. Eucharistic ministers were Diane Jonak and Paul Dzingle.
Julie Dush was the musician.
Selections included “Be Not Afraid,” “This Alone,” “These Alone Are Enough,” “Table of Plenty,” “Song of Farewell,” and “Paint Me a Birmingham” by Tracy Lawrence.
Casketbearers were Tucker Krzycki, Troy Jonak, Travis Jonak, Joey Jonak, Mitch Jonak, Tyler Jonak, Matthew Jonak, and Tim Wysocki.
Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
Peters Funeral Home of St. Paul is assisting the family.
Jeff was born on March 3, 1966, in Ord, the son of Stephen D. and Mary Ann (Klein) Krzycki. He grew up in Elba, attended Elba Public Schools, and graduated from Elba High School in 1984.
Jeff worked for Chief Industries in Grand Island for thirty-three years and later began working at McCain Foods in maintenance and wastewater management. On weekends, he also worked a side job in roofing.
Jeff was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting, working on his cars, and air boating. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and attending their activities.
He is survived by his twin daughters and their spouses, Chasatti and Michael Pritchard of Dannebrog and Jessica and Brenton Zimmerer of Humphrey; five grandchildren, Natalie, Grayson, Haven, Sunni, and Atlas; his brother, Kenny Krzycki of Elba; his sister and brother-inlaw, Diane and Joe Jonak of Elba; and nine nieces and nephews, Kennadi, Tucker, Travis, Mitch, Matthew, Troy, Terrin, Joey, and Tyler.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
