Jean Ann Wilcox, 70, of St. Paul, died Monday, February 9, 2026, at Emerald Nursing & Rehab Lakeview in Grand Island.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Peters Funeral Home in St. Paul. Father Alex Borzych will officiate. Inurnment will be in St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery in Spalding.

Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.

Peters Funeral Home of St. Paul is assisting the Wilcox family.

Jean was born August 20, 1955, in Spalding, the daughter of Eugene and Alice (Carraher) DeLancey. She grew up in Spalding, where she received her education and graduated from Spalding Academy with the Class of 1973.

Upon graduating, Jean lived in various communities before marrying John Wilcox on June 5, 1998. The couple eventually settled in St. Paul, where they lived the rest of their lives.

Jean enjoyed going to the St. Paul Senior Center for meals, bingo, and puzzles.

Survivors include her son, Michael and Shawna Woosley of Columbus; grandchildren, Jaden, Hannah, Brandon, and Lillian; and several great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by siblings and spouses, Bob and Diane DeLancey of Columbus, Doug and Carrie DeLancey of Lincoln, Kate Molt of Albion, John DeLancey of Columbus, Rich DeLancey of Spalding, Dan DeLancey of Spalding, Mary Bopp of Spalding, and Jim and Char DeLancey of Phillips; and many nieces and nephews.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Wilcox, on July 16, 2025; brothers-inlaw, Jerry Molt and Denny Bopp; sister-in-law, Shelli DeLancey; and nephew, Kristopher DeLancey.
