Isaac Gene Swanson, 28, of Grand Island, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. A celebration of Isaac’s life will be held at a later date. All Faiths Funeral Home is entrusted with serving the family. Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
Isaac was born on September 5, 1997, in St. Paul, the oldest son of Steve and Nichole (Clement) Swanson.
Isaac received his education in Grand Island starting at Trinity Lutheran School and graduating from Heartland Lutheran High School with the Class of 2015. In high school, Isaac was a member of the football team and track team. He also was involved in weightlifting. In 2021, Isaac earned his bachelor’s of science degree in information technology, specialization in security, from Colorado Technical University in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He soon began employment with Vant4ge in Boise, Idaho. Isaac lived in Idaho for a few years and was close with many of his co-workers and their families. He continued to work for Vant4ge remotely and returned to Grand Island in 2023.
Isaac enjoyed boat rides with his dad and riding his motorcycle through the mountains in Idaho. He loved to visit family in South Dakota to spend time with all his grandparents and cousins. Isaac was an avid computer gamer from a young age and would pick the best action and adventure movies to see with his sister, Macy. Quiet moments sharing coffee with his mom was a favorite part of his day. He will be remembered for his fierce protection and love of his siblings.
Isaac is survived by his mother, Nichole Swanson of Grand Island; father, Steve (Pam) Swanson of Aurora; siblings, Logan Swanson, Macy Swanson, and Cole Swanson; maternal grandma, Lynette (Paul) Meyer of Orient, South Dakota, maternal grandpa, Gene (Carol) Clement of Huron, South Dakota; paternal grandma, Elaine Swanson of St. Paul; and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, family members and friends.
Isaac was preceded in death by his paternal grandpa, Ron Swanson.
