Frank was born on October 8, 1939, on the family farm southwest of Farwell, the son of Frank and Vernie (Lubash) Koperski, Sr. He attended country school in the area and graduated from Farwell High School in 1957.
After graduation, he worked in construction and for the soil conservation office. He then served in the United States Army.
Frank was united in marriage to Sharon A. Goc on October 17, 1964, in Loup City. The couple lived their entire married life southwest of Farwell, where they raised their family, farmed, ran a dairy, and raised cattle and hogs. Farming was Frank’s life.
He was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Farwell.
Frank enjoyed collecting clocks and going for evening pickup rides in the country to check on the crops—and the neighbors. He also liked attending farm auctions, watching westerns on television, and faithfully drinking coffee at least three times a day.
