Evangeline Gladys “Vangie” Markvicka Obermiller, 93, died peacefully Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Howard County Medical Center in St. Paul, surrounded by her loving family.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in St. Paul. The Reverend Vince Parsons will celebrate the Mass, assisted by Deacon Neil Baquet. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in St. Paul.

In lieu of plants and flowers, memorials are suggested to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the St. Paul Fire Department
