Elberta June (Black) Jares, 90, of Kearney, formerly of St. Paul and Aurora, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at the Central Nebraska Veterans Home in Kearney.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 14, 2025 at Jacobsen-Greenway-Dietz Funeral Home in St. Paul. Interment will be held at the Elmwood Cemetery in St. Paul.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Jacobsen- Greenway- Dietz Funeral Home in St. Paul.

Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.
