David Michael Lawrence, 53, of Cushing, died on Monday, May 6, 2024 at his home.

To honor his wishes, David’s body was cremated, and no public services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date. Jacobsen-Greenway Dietz Funeral Home in St. Paul is assisting the family.

David was born on June 6, 1970, to Richard W. Lawrence and Nancy L. Lawrence, in Anchorage, Alaska. He lived most of his life in Hoquiam, Washington, where he spent most of his career working at various shake mills. He moved to Montana and later moved to Nebraska. He enjoyed the great outdoors, especially fishing and hunting.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Nancy; brother, Richard W. Lawrence; sister, Jennifer Morgan of Aberdeen, Washington; son, David (Jessica) Lawrence; grandson, Ravi of Tigard, Oregon;

and daughter, Stephanie Floch of Aberdeen, Washington. David is also survived by his life partner, April Fox of Cushing; her daughters and sons, Kiri Glenn of Dannebrog (children, Sylvia and Savannah), Ericka (Pete) Creek of Palmer (children, Morgan, Emma-Jean, Hunter, and Angelia Marie Rose), Jesse (Heather) Anderson (children, Leila, Owen, Varek, and Everleigh), and Justin (Michelle) Anderson (children, Amaya, Jonothon, Matthew, Angie, and Tyler).

David was preceded in death by his father, Richard Lawrence.
