Arthur “Archie” A. Wojtalewicz
Arthur A. “Archie” Wojtalewicz, United States Army retired, 74, of St. Paul. Archie was born on August 6, 1949 at St. Paul, the son of Edwin J. and Delores M. (Olsufka) Wojtalewicz. He was dismissed with dignity on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at the VA Medical Center in Grand Island.
Celebration of life services were held on Monday, March 11, 2024, at the St. Paul Civic Center. Chaplain Sidney Bruggeman offered words of comfort. Recorded selections included “Auld Lang Syne,” by Rod Stewert. Military honors were provided by Carl Mogensen American Legion Post 119 of St. Paul and the United States Army Funeral Honors Team. A luncheon followed at the St. Paul Civic Center.

Archie is survived by his wife, Ute (Sandhoefer) Wojtalewicz; children, Diana Marie Andreasen of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Jennifer (William Stevens) Wojtalewicz of Polk, Dan (Melissa Butts) Wojtalewicz of Omaha and Raimond Wojtalewicz and fiancée, Nicholle Renshaw of Omaha; grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Chris and Robert Pokorsky of Ashville, North Carolina; brothers and sisters-inlaw, Cheryl Wojtalewicz of San Antonio, Texas, Cliff and Nina Wojtale-wicz of Norman, Oklahoma, Phil and Terri Wojtalewicz of Lansing, Kansas, and Barb and Steve Linnemeyer of Grand Island; motherin- law, Margot Mueller of Germany; and sistersin- law and spouses, Ilona and Barry Preattle of Niceville, Florida and Claudia and Stefan Wagner of Germany.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Russell Wojtalewicz; and granddaughter, Ashley.
