Tony was born January 2, 1986, in Grand Island, the son of Paul and Darlene (Klein) McClay. Growing up, he lived in several communities, including Central City, Wolbach, and Spalding.
He began his education in Spalding and graduated from St. Paul Public School in 2004. Following graduation, Tony worked for Trotter’s Fertilization in Farwell. He later began working for Larry Dugan at LTD Electric and most recently was employed by Access Electric until his passing.
Tony was united in marriage to Kaycee Caudill on October 11, 2008, in Wolbach.
Tony loved riding his motorcycle, hunting and fishing, and jeeping on the river. His dogs—Harley, Tank, and Bandit—were his loyal companions. If you were looking for Tony, he was most likely in his garage, which was his man cave and haven. Tony’s pride and joy was his family. He was a helper by nature and would drop anything at a moment’s notice to help anyone in need.
Tony is survived by his wife, Kaycee of St. Paul; children, Annberlyn McClay, Taelyn McClay, Gunner McClay, and Raider McClay, all of St. Paul; stepfather, Maury Wolinski of St. Paul; brothers, Stefan McClay of St. Paul and Scott McClay of Norfolk; in-laws, Patty and Marvin Caudill of Wolbach; sister-inlaw, Jessica and Clint Jarman of Wolbach; and brother-in-law, Seth and Jessica Christensen of Hastings.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Darlene Wolinski, and his father, Paul McClay.
