Houston was born on February 23, 1968, in Fullerton.
He was the son of Inez Wardrip, who survives him, and the late Norval Harrison. Throughout his life, Houston’s deep connection to his family was evident in the love and support he gave and received. He is survived by his daughters, Shaleah Chamblee (Bobby) and Chante Sack (Ray); sisters, Valerie Harrison and Paula Harrison; nephews, Clayton Burton, Denzel, Kirael, and Nick Burton; his nieces, Ashlee Huestis, Christina Brown, Camie Tovar, Brittany Abbot, Violet, and Anna Lovely; and grandchildren, Vannea, Raelynn, Kodan, and Avery.
Houston’s family circle was further marked by the memory of his sister, Kimberly Harrison, who preceded him in death.
Houston grew up in the Grand Island area. He was employed by Bob Leetch Tree Service for several years. His days were guided by hard work, compassion, and the importance of kinship. He truly enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing. Those who had the privilege of knowing Houston will remember a man whose kindness was steadfast and whose humor brightened even the most ordinary moments.
As a father, brother, son, uncle, and friend, Houston touched many lives, offering an open hand and a listening ear whenever needed. His legacy lives on through his family and in the countless memories shared by who loved him.
