Timothy “Tim” W. Ingraham, 62, of Arcadia, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 27, 2026, at CHI Health— St. Francis in Grand Island.

Tim was born on April 27, 1964, in Ord, to John and Alice Garvel Ingraham. He was baptized at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Scotia, and graduated from North Loup–Scotia High School in 1982.

From a very young age, Tim was mechanically inclined. He had a natural gift for understanding how things worked, especially if it had a motor. There was nothing he wouldn’t tear apart, study, repair, and put back together. Over the years, he worked on small engines, vehicles, and heavy construction equipment. Most recently, he worked for Trotter Fertilizer and Ken’s Equipment where he became especially skilled with large agricultural machinery. He earned a reputation as someone who could diagnose a problem, find a practical solution, and keep equipment in the field. Tim also had a deep love of music. He taught himself how to play acoustic guitar and was a member of a rockn- roll band. He also enjoyed tinkering on his antique John Deere tractor and spending time outdoors fishing and hunting.

Tim is survived by his mother, Alice Garvel Fox of St. Paul; sisters, Deb (Gary) Satchell of Livingston, Texas, and Kim (Jim) Hixson of Randolph; and nieces and nephews, Terence (Krista) Satchell, Patrick Satchell, Malerie (Seth) Wilmes, and Judson (Madeline) Hixson.

Tim was preceded in death by his brother, John L. Ingraham.

Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on August 13, 2026, at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery in Ashton. Father Vince Parsons will officiate. A celebration of Tim’s life and a luncheon will follow at the American Legion Club Post 48 in Loup City at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
