Doyle Leonard Brundage, 88, of Farwell, died on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Wellmore Care in Tega Cay, South Carolina, with family by his side. Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the Cairo United Methodist Church.
Inurnment will follow in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Cairo.

Doyle was born on August 13, 1936, at the family farm in Cairo, to Leonard and Maxine (Stoeger) Brundage. He grew up in the Cairo-Boelus area and received his education from Cairo High School, graduating with the Class of 1953.
Doyle was united in marriage to Peggy O’Neill on August 31, 1958, at Cairo, after which the couple lived in Cairo. They later moved to Farwell and lived in the area for thirty-plus years. Doyle had various jobs, but most notably he worked for Monforts and farmed. After Peggy’s passing, Doyle resided in St. Paul.
Doyle was a member of the Cairo United Methodist Church and the American Legion. He enjoyed golfing, playing cards, gardening, watching westerns, and tinkering with what he could find.
Doyle is survived by his son, David (CiCi) Brundage; grandchildren, Kim Wooden, Jessica (Brent) Levander, Jamie Brundage, David (Jennifer) Brundage Jr., Christal Brundage, and Eric (Sara) Weber; twelve great-grandchildren; sister, Sheryl (Larry) Saathoff; brother, Darrel Brundage; and son-in-law, Frank Weber.
Doyle is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Brundage; parents, Leonard and Maxine Brundage; daughters, Diane Blackburn and Kathy Weber; grandson, Jeffery Budzinski; infant sister, Sharon Alice; and sisterin- law, Yvonne Brundage.
