Ann Hameloth Vanosdall, 69, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away at home after a long, courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.

Livingston- Sondermann Funeral Home in Grand Island is entrusted with the arrangements.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 15, 2025, at First Church of Christ in Palmer, with Pastor Jerry Quandt officiating.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Friday.

Interment will be held in Rose Hill Cemetery in Palmer.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are kindly suggested to the family for later designation.

A memorial service will be held at Bright Angel Church in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Friday, August 22, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.

Ann was born on May 18, 1956, in St. Paul, to Carl and E. Louise Davison. She grew up in Palmer and graduated from Palmer High School in 1974.

Ann was united in marriage to Gary Hameloth on August 21, 1976. After which, the couple lived in St. Paul, where they welcomed two daughters, Lacy and Lindsay. Ann later married Dennis Vanosdall on January 1, 1991. They resided in Grand Island until moving to Las Vegas, Nevada.

Ann made a career of working for Ford—including Jacob’s Ford in St. Paul, Anderson Ford in Grand Island, and most recently, Friendly Ford in Las Vegas—until her retirement.

Ann enjoyed tending to her plants and flowers, watching the hummingbirds in her backyard, hiking and other outdoor activities, musical performances at the Smith Center, fitness, NHRA, Nebraska football, and surrounding herself with family and friends. She found strength in her faith and community. She will be remembered for her smile and laugh, benevolence, and unwavering determination.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters Lacy (Nick) Meinke of Lincoln and Lindsay (Jerrin Gray) Hameloth of Las Vegas; grandchildren, Kinsley and Kaden Meinke; siblings, Susan Herzig of Olathe, Kansas, Bonnie (Larry) Bredthauer of Grand Island, Rick Davison of Grand Island, Audrey (Chuck) Raynor of Hawthorne, Florida, and Barry (Laura) Davison of Grand Island; grand-dogs Stella, Blue, and Oliver; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dennis Vanosdall; brother-in-law, Carl Beed; sister-in-law, Vicki Davison; father of her daughters, Gary Hameloth; and her dog, Max.
