Lucas Glen Grim
Lucas Glen Grim, 39, of Scotia passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 16, 2025, at Bryan West Medical Center in Lincoln, as a result of complications from Leukemia.
Funeral services were held on Friday, May 23, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at Zion Lutheran Church in Scotia, with Pastor Mark Middendorf officiating.
Musical selections included “Borning Cry,” “On Eagle’s Wings,” “So God Made a Farmer,” and “Like a Rock.”
Interment was held at Kelso Cemetery near Farwell.
Jacobsen- Greenway- Dietz Funeral Home in St. Paul is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions be made to Lucas’s family.
Lucas was born July 31, 1985, to Kelly and Beth (Dudley) Grim, in Grand Island. He grew up in Dannebrog and attended Centura Public Schools, graduating in 2003.
Lucas drove truck for several years and worked for area farmers. His hobbies included trucking, fishing, and farming with the Stam Brothers. He enjoyed taking the kids trucking and farming when time allowed.
Lucas was a lifelong member of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Dannebrog, where he was baptized, confirmed, and where he married Robin Fieldgrove on April 14, 2012. Together, they raised their four children; Tristin, Emma, Anistyn, and Walker.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Robin; and their children, Tristin, Emma, Anistyn, and Walker, all of Scotia; parents, Beth and Kelly Cumming of Dannebrog; father, Kelly Grim of Montana; grandparents, Glen and Ina Dudley of Farwell; sister, Alisa Grim of Grand Island; brothers, Colton Cumming of Farwell and Kalen and Kiley Cumming of Dannebrog; father-in-law, Jim Beeler of Elba; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Randie and Jeff Spiehs of Cairo; and numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, extended family members, and friends.
Lucas was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arnold and Elaine Grim; motherin- law, Karen Beeler; and father-in-law, Nick Fieldgrove.
