Robert “Bob” J. Pearson, 68, of St. Paul, died on June 16, 2024 at the VA Medical Center in Grand Island.

A celebration of Bob’s life was held on Friday, June 21, 2024 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in St. Paul.

Pastor Tim Rust and Deacon Neil Baquet officiated.

Musical selections included “When I Get Where I’m Going,” “Scars In Heaven,” “If Tommorow Never Dies,” and “Holy Forever.”

Honorary pallbearers included Brenda Malander, Jim Pearson, Joe Pearson, Lloyd Pearson, Jerrol Pearson, Loren Pearson, Wayne Cordes, Mike Stenka, and Landon Rozmiarek.

Military honors were provided by the St. Paul American Legion Honor Guard and the United States Navy Honor Team.

Jacobsen- Greenway- Dietz Funeral Home in St. Paul is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.

Bob was born on February 28, 1956, in Loup City. He grew up in Elba and graduated from Elba High School in 1974. He was united in marriage to Connie Wysocki in 1983. Connie passed away in 2010. Bob was united in marriage to Konny Rozmiarek in 2023. He entered the United States Navy on December 16, 1974, and was honorably discharged on December 15, 1978, working as an aviation mechanic. He was currently employed by Baker’s Feedlot and Jensen’s Feedlot.

Bob started working construction at the age of fourteen with his father. He went on to work on the Calamus Dam Project and Davis Creek canals. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed farming and working cattle with his brother, Lloyd, as well as going to farm machinery auctions together.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Konny Rozmiarek of St. Paul; parents, Bryce and Geri Pearson of Elba; brothers and sisters-inlaw, Jim Pearson of Elba, Joe and Judy Pearson of Elba, Lloyd Pearson of Elba, Jerrol Pearson of Elba, and Loren and Heather Pearson of St. Paul; sister and brotherin- law, Brenda and Joe Malander of Belgrade; father-in-law and motherin- law, Wayne and Judy Cordes of Papillion; stepson and step-daughter-inlaw, Landon and Savannah Rozmiarek of Omaha; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Kim and Terry Root of Omaha and Chelsea and Greg Delich of Colorado; brother-inlaw and sister-in-law, Ryan and Tiffany Cordes of Iowa; step-grandchildren, Asher, Nixon, and Krew Rozmiarek, all of Omaha; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his first wife, Connie Wysocki, and grandparents, Louie and Irene Stenka and John and Geneva Pearson.
