In its second year back following a 2020 hiatus, the St. Paul Volunteer Fire Department’s annual pancake feed has continued to exceed all expectations.
For the people of St. Paul, it was not an uncommon sight to see Bob Christensen, a retiree and veteran of the United States Army who has called St. Paul home since early childhood, out and about on his tricycle, his rear basket often full of laundry, groceries, or other goods from local shops.
The Wolbach Cemetery received two donations in memory of Jens Nielsen. A $140 donation was received from friends and family, and a $20 donation was received from Carl and Donna Ondracek.
AIDAN ANDERSON, a senior at St. Paul High School and a member of the Wildcat cross country team, represented his local Fellowship of Christian Athletes organization by attending the FCA Distance Camp held at the University of Nebraska at Kearney from June 14th until June 17th.
Mark and Judy Dugan attended grandson Broc Porter’s ball game in Elba on Tuesday evening. Shelly Wolinski and Kerry Kolar spent the weekend camping near the river with friends and family from Newman Grove, Bennington, Murray, and Lincoln.
