Melvin Raymond Brahatcek, age 62, of Grand Island, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024 at The Cedars at Broadwell. A funeral service was held on Monday, February 5th at All Faiths Funeral Home.

Donald L. Lewandowski, 88, of Giltner died on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Grand Island Regional Medical Center. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, February 2, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Giltner, with Reverend Mark Seiker celebrating. Burial followed at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery. A visitation was held on Thursday with a Rosary at Apfel Funeral Home in Grand Island. Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation. Mary Ann Dzingle, 85, of Elba, died on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at CHI Health — St. Elizabeth in Lincoln.

Theodore Dean (Ted) Tomlinson, 89, of Sheridan, Wyoming passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at Sheridan County Memorial Hospital, with his daughter, Teresa, and son, Jeff, by his side. The youngest of two, Ted was born and raised on a farm in Nance County, Nebraska to Fern and Sherman Tomlinson.

John E. Van Winkle, 78, of Farwell, died on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at his home.

Beverly Joan Newquist, 88, of Fullerton, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at Arbor Care Center in Fullerton. To honor Bev’s wishes, cremation was chosen.
