THE ST. PAUL WATER PARK will open this Friday with refurbished and repaired floaties and new edge pads, thanks to the city’s Keno funds. Waterpark Excitement, of Texas, had repaired two sets of the floaties, one dating back “probably ten years” and another dating back to the start of the water park in 2002. Each set contains four log slices and two logs, with the older set to serve as a backup. The total cost of the repairs and new pads had been reportedly around $20,000. Courtesy Photo
