Cathryn Taylor Passes May 11th
Cathryn Taylor, a gift to so many, passed away on May 11, 2022.
Cathryn was born on June 9,1948 and devoted her life to helping people. Referred to as the Mother of Inner Child Work, Cathryn was an integrationist and a bridge, guiding people in maneuvering through their past in order to be able to live the best versions of their authentic, adult selves. Cathryn continues her legacy through her eight books, from the best selling The Inner Child Workbook (published in six languages), to her most recent, I Think I Like You Better Dead (a spiritual memoir). She was a devoted partner, mother, sister, aunt, friend, therapist, mentor, and much more. Her immense light, strength, and compassion will travel on in those that she guided and influenced here on this plane.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Chuck and Gladys Taylor, and by her brother, John Taylor.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur Anczarski; daughter, Lily Berger; soul brother and co-parent, Chris Berger; soul sister, Laurel King; step-daughters, Gabrielle Anczarski and Priya Anczarski; step-son, Solomon Anczarski; sister, Suzanne (Allan) Tabor; brother, C. Thomas (Pam) Taylor; sister-in-law, Jodi Taylor; nieces, Cathryn Cremas, Michelle (Ryan) Ramos, Ashley (Troy) Laird, Alex Taylor, and Samantha Taylor; nephew, Sean Tabor; great-nephews, Mikal, Taylor, and Thomas; great-nieces, Sailor, Winslow, Quinn, and Cora; great-nephew, Woods; and by her beloved dogs, Avery, Kelly, Max, and Warren.
Cathryn graduated from St. Paul High School in 1966 and TCU in 1970; received a master’s degree in psychology MFT (1978). She was a member of PEO (Chapter AP), and was a licensed marriage and family therapist and alcohol and drug counselor. She was also a personal life coach, as well as a practitioner of the Akashic Records, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), and Tension and Trauma Release Exercises (TRE®). She was also affiliated with The Edge Magazine for many years.
