Julie Spilinek attended the Thesaurean Writer’s Club Christmas potluck meal and party at the Ord Housing Authority Recreation Room on Thursday at noon. They also enjoyed games and gifted personal writings to each member. Those attending were Sue Dowse and Pam Chambers of Comstock, Fran Kaslon and LeAnne Dowse of Burwell, and Karen Koelling and Jackie Stoltenberg of Ord.
Coleen Ingerle attended and helped at the Christmas Craft Fair and Soup Dinner on Saturday at the Elba Community Center.

AnnaMae Julesgard was a Sunday morning and dinner guest of Jeanie Julesgard and Jeff Nowak of rural St. Paul. Other guests were Tim and Alyssa Vogeler and her sister Rilynn of Lincoln, Elaine Nowak, Brandon and Erin Nowak, Alex and Macy Hitchler and Oaklyn all from the St. Paul area.

November Rainfall
A total of 0.25 inches of rain was recorded in St. Paul during the month of November. In 2021, a total of .41 inches was recorded, a decrease from the 1.72 inches that fell in 2020.
Aebelskiver Breakfast to be December 10th
Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Dannebrog is hosting an Aebelskiver Breakfast on Saturday, December 10th. Food will be served from 8:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Proceeds will support the church’s youth ministry.
