DOWNTOWN FIRE QUICKLY SUPPRESSED

Thick plumes of black smoke filled the air near Bed Head Coffee Co. on St. Paul’s main street early Tuesday morning.

At around 9:30, scanner traffic from the Howard County Communications Center indicated that the source of the blaze was the alley between Howard Avenue and Indian Street.
