SCARLETT SWANSON, daughter of Ted Swanson of Indiana, rode through the parade on the First Baptist Church’s float. The float promoted the church’s vacation bible school this summer.

AVERY WILKINS, daughter of Devan and Larissa Wilkins of Dannebrog, rode through the parade on one of the Dannebrog Volunteer Fire Department’s apparatus.

RAE ANDERSON, daughter of Adam and Tonya Anderson, dressed as Jesse as a part of a Toy Story entry during last week’s parade.

DARRELL ELGERT of Dannebrog performed the National Anthem prior to the start of last week’s parade in Dannebrog.

REPRESENTING the Danish Brotherhood at the start of Saturday’s Grundlovsfest Parade were Ken Leth, BreyLeigh Smith, Marcy Jorgensen, and Joe Lind.

OWEN WATERS of South Dakota rode in the Rasmussen family’s 1953 Chevy pickup. The pickup has been owned by four generations of the family.

KOLACHES were a popular treat along the parade route, courtesy of the Danish Bakery.

BOELUS RESIDENT Jim Nelson was one of several area residents who drove their tractors through last week’s parade.

THE DANNEBROG BALL ASSOCIATION was well-represented in last Saturday’s Grundlovsfest Parade. Members of all ages marched with the group, representing the Howard County community’s various teams.
